Student Government

Student Council is coming soon!

In September, students from sixth grade will be selected to serve as the Student Council at Jackson Elementary. They will be selected because of their strong desire to serve our School Community. They will show their interest by writing an essay and filling out a job application!

Student Government wiill have their first meeting in October.

They will help to monitor the school’s halls every morning as well as the cafeteria, the parking area, and will help to plan activities to improve our school.

When you see these awesome students with their yellow vests, please follow their directions and say thanks for your help as a student leader.

¡El Consejo Estudiantil llegará pronto!

En septiembre, los estudiantes de sexto grado serán seleccionados para servir como el Consejo Estudiantil en Jackson Elementary. Serán seleccionados por su fuerte deseo de servir a nuestra comunidad escolar. ¡Mostrarán su interés escribiendo un ensayo y completando una solicitud de empleo!

El gobierno estudiantil tendrá su primera reunión en octubre.

Ayudarán a controlar los pasillos de la escuela todas las mañanas, así como la cafetería, el área de estacionamiento, y ayudarán a planificar actividades para mejorar nuestra escuela.

Cuando vea a estos increíbles estudiantes con sus chalecos amarillos, siga sus instrucciones y agradezca su ayuda como líder estudiantil.
